Winter Tax Payment
Payments can be paid online by going to granttownshipoceana.com and then to taxes & land division or to the BSA software online and to BSA software welcome (follow their directions).
Taxes are payable by mail, by depositing in mail slot next to south entrance of Town Hall (NOTE: Do Not Deposit Cash or Change in the mail slot) or by credit card through the Grant Township Website. For additional hours and Questions please Call 231-557-1349.
Taxes are due by Feb. 14,2025. AFTER Feb. 14,2025, you will OWE MORE. Call 231-557-1349 for the correct amount due. If NOT paid by Feb. 28,2025, you can no longer pay to the township. You must make your check payable to the County Treasurer AFTER calling 231-873-3980 for the amount due and mail to her at PO Box 227, Hart, MI. 49420. Please do not call her until after March 7, 2025. Post marks are not accepted as paid on time. If you do not allow enough time for the postal services, you are late. Payments can be paid online. I will not be available to walk you through the process.

Office Hours for Winter Tax payments. Office hours are ONLY 10-12 Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday:
December 4, 2024 through December 13, 2024.
February 3,2025 through February 12, 2025.
Open 9-5 ONLY on December 27,2024, February 14,2025, and February 28,2025.
December 14, 2024 – February 2nd, 2025 – open Wednesdays from 10am – 12:00.
My office is closed on legal holidays and when either Shelby or Montague schools are closed for weather Except when required by law to be in the offices ( Dec. 27, 2024, Feb. 14, 2025 & Feb. 28,2025)
Do not leave cash in the drop box and Please include a phone number where you can be reached in case there is a problem with the payment.
If checks do not clear, receipts are void. Postmarks are not accepted as a payment date.
5 PM on Feb. 28,2025 is the last day I can accept payments. After the 2nd week of March, call the County Treas. Office, 231-873-3980, for the correct amount due and pay her.

VOTING Information
Canvassing for Grant Township. Early voting ballots will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 after 8:00 pm at the Oceana County Court House in Hart Michigan.
